DJ Strikah is a Harlem-born DJ with parents hailing from Antigua and Montserrat. Growing up, his father was a local DJ and taught him to appreciate and love music of all types. At age 16, Strikah’s father signed him up for classes at Dubspot (DJing school), thus beginning his career. While attending Syracuse University, majoring in Information Technology, his DJ resume has grown to include fraternity and sorority parties, various concerts, banquets, poetry slams, formals, and college radio station shows. He has opened for artists such as A$AP Rocky, Fabolous, Tyga, Big Sean, Dipset, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Mr. Vegas, Kerwin Du Bois, Metro Boomin, Future, DJ Esco, Fetty Wap, Sonny Digital, Lyrikal, QQ, Konshens, Aidonia, Dexta Daps, Tony Matterhorn, and former Vice President Joe Biden. DJ Strikah’s reputation comes from his versatility with many different genres including but not limited to Hip Hop, Dancehall, Soca, Afrobeats, House, and Pop. Currently, he is PVE’s Events Manager and in-house DJ, curating playlists and creating new mixes.
